I got a Pi Zero running with instructions:
but how do i change my current projects to connect via the local server?
when i try to login with my Pi IP 192.168.0.5 and port 8443 it says:
“something went wrong when connecting to the server”
do i need a new login?
i have come so far with coding C+ & Blynking but now i feel so dumb again!!!
Yes. You need to create new account. Blynk cloud and local server not related.
Does your phone in same network as server?

and i CAN access projects via the internet from my local server as long as i “port forward” or something, right?
not 100% sure? how do i tell?
my phone is on wifi which is 192.168.1.xxx
and Pi is on ethernet which is on 192.168.0.xxx
but my laptop is on wifi and i can connect to my NAS which is on the ethernet.
detail - my cable broadband internet goes to a modem/router, that i connect to my wifi router with a Ethernet cable, but i still use the modem/router to connect to my homes Ethernet devices, including my Netcomm powerline broadband stuff - which is what the Pi is connected to…
also - most of my Blynk devices are ESP8266’s networked with Wifi but i also have an Arduino connected via Ethernet…

OK, so i have created a new Blynk login, and sent a project via “clone app” from my Blynk cloud account.
but the app says: “your local server is outdated, please update”
i put 16.2 on there - this is the latest?
also when i try to email the token, it says: “Project’s auth token has not been received yet”
so how can i add the auth to my hardware???
also - when i close the Blynk app, it loses the cloned project??
i created a new project, and it sticks, but the cloned project disappears?
when i try to email the auth code from the created app - it says “email not sent, please check your network connection”
also - cannot access ADMIN

i have a putty window open, what do i type?
When you start server you should see message that tells where logs folder is. Usually it is same folder where jar file is.
