How many templates can i create/have?

Sorry, I don’t understand how I can see different devices on different tabs…
I’ve added tabs to the device - I now have two tabs on which I can place widgets. But this all refers to the same device.
And the worst thing is that adding tabs on one device automatically adds them on the second device (from the same template).
Thus, tabs do not in any way solve the problem of separation of devices, when devices are structurally different and cannot have identical dashboards.

A template is a great idea when you make many identical devices.
But it’s bad when all your devices are different, and the number of templates is limited.

Maybe it is possible to make a widget setting that would allow a given widget to be hidden in a device, but so that this does not apply to all devices of a given template?
This would greatly help in solving the problem of different devices on one template.

You can’t, and I already pointed that out…

Yes, that’s the whole idea of templates.

My suggestion was that you have two tabs, one for device one, with the widgets you need for that device, and the other for device two, with the widgets for that device.

When you open Device 1’s dashboard you go to the Device 1 tab and control it.
When you open Device 2’s dashboard you switch to the Device 2 tab and control device 2.
Not ideal, as I said, but a way of compartmentalising the controls for each device whilst still only using one of your template allocation.

Pete.

I haven’t explored this feature so not sure if it will fit your needs, but maybe you could try the Show/Hide property for the button you do not want displayed on the other device template dashboard.

or disable it?
