Hello @Oleksii-QA,

Thank you a lot, problem fixed, I’ve tried to add and duplicate and it worked, but what does Wrong templates mean, is it an issue from our side? if yes, how can we get over it.

Best Regards

No, this is a rare bug with mobile templates. Write if it happens again.

Hello
I plan to increase the number of devices in the maker plan to 20. But the number of templates will remain 10, which means that the whole point of increasing is lost, since my devices differ in function and you cannot use two devices from one template.
Could Blynk consider increasing the number of templates to match the number of devices?
When the devices are different, this is logical.
And if this is not a business project, but for example home automation, then naturally all devices are different and one template cannot be applied to two devices.
Thank you.

Hello @Serg_Grn.

Yes, it is correct. In this case, this plan is used by those who use one template for several devices. There are no plans to increase the number of templates. This topic has been discussed many times.

Regards.

Got it, thanks for the answer.
It turns out that there is no real possibility to make more than 10 different devices in one system (at home or other household).
It’s a shame, this is an unexpected limitation.

The template only really defines the dashboard.
Do you really need more than 10 dashboards?

Pete.

Here’s an example I came across.
There are two water supply pumps, they are located in different places, but they work almost the same, only the settings differ.
Initially they were made according to the same template and everything was ok.
But I needed to install an additional valve on one of the pumps, which should be opened with a button from Blynk. And then a surprise arose - the added button also appeared in another device, which does not have a valve and is not needed there.
It is impossible to delete/add a widget in an application for only one device if they are based on the same template.
Because of this, I am forced to create a new template, although it is almost a complete copy of the previous one…
I don’t see how to solve this problem otherwise.
It’s a shame, but this defeats the purpose of expanding to 20 devices.

Yes, as I said, it defines the dashboard for the devices based in it.
One option is to use a dashboard that has various tabs, and you use one for the dashboard for one device, and the second tab for the other device.

Of course, it would be easier if you could see both devices in the same dashboard, and Blynk have hinted that this will be available soon.

It’s one of the reasons I use Node-Red. I have one template with 20-30 devices controlled through it.

I don’t quite understand what tabs you mean?
It seems that in Blynk 2.0 there are no tabs in the sense that there were in Legacy…

In the mobile app, select one of the devices attached to the template you wnat to use, enter edit mode (hit the spanner/wrench icon) tap the Customise button, choose Header Widgets and then choose Tabs.
They work the same as tabs in Legacy. You can add 3 tabs with the Maker subscription, 20 with the Pro subscription.
