Blynk Local server + IFTTT

You’re not part of the Hatton Garden group are you

#!/bin/bash

>> first iptables command

>> second iptables command

>> start server command

Trust me I am.

Haaaa You can take that dirty word trust out

What is bin bash

Once you have saved costas.sh run

sudo chmod +x costas.sh

Stop the server.

Test the bash script with:

./costas.sh

Let me know if it works and then we can move to crontab.

I just realised something that this is a topic, if anybody else has the same problem they may have the misfortune of reading this in some kind of hope of putting their problem right . It reads more like a comedy sketch

Header for a script but each OS has different headers.

So how do other people keep their servers running

There are 4 or 5 ways.

Have you finished the script yet?

What script, how?

I just wrote it for you in my last few posts.

Is it done in the putty window

Yes and you can duplicate the window if you want.

Note you are pasting in the real commands here.

Okay I’ve got the putty window open tell me the first thing to type in

sudo nano costas.sh

Look back for what goes in the script.

Hang on I won’t be able to do it until I close the putty window, Which in turn will stop the blynk server is that a problem

I said you can simply duplicate the window but you are going to be stopping the server soon anyway so do either.

Ok I’ve closed and reopened the putty window so what is the first thing I need to type in
