Win10 Local Blynk Server: What happens if pc sleeps?

What happens if my computer goes into sleep? Can requests still be handled or is that not possible?
I`m sorry if that question is already answered elsewhere, I didn’t find anything.

I don’t use local server but I would suggest experimenting

I don’t want to go through the hassle of setting up the whole kadoosh without aquiring some information first. Can somebody share some experiences maybe?

Then everything running on it sleeps… that is why it is called sleep :stuck_out_tongue:

I’ve never set up a local server, but logic dictates that the machine needs to be up and running 24/7.

That’s why most people use a small low power board such as a Raspberry Pi.

If I was going to set up a Windows local server then I’d use something like a Minx.

Pete.

I’ve had it running on my PC for years … works really well and VERY RELIABLY is my experience.
BUT setup windows so it never goes to sleep otherwise it will stop working obviously
