Which is the best wifi module to buy for Arduino project?

I am using Ai thinker Esp8266 -1 wifi module which has stability problem. Can someone suggest a more stable wifi module for my arduino project with pros and cons.

Get a full ESP8266 Development board and don’t bother with ESP/Arduino shields. They do work (I also use an ESP-01 and MEGA2560 myself), but require a bit more finessing to work together and not really recommended for beginners.

Look for NodeMCU or Wemos D1 Mini boards as they can be programmed directly from the IDE, can be powered by 5v USB if necessary, and and have their own GPIO pins.

@Fettkeewl don’t get too excited… I am still fond of both methods :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: Still hard to beat the IO abilities of a MEGA.

Hard? Nono :stuck_out_tongue: not with i2c expanders  arduino is slow

Every. Single. Robot. that this guy builds is from simple, slow, Arduinos  He is my hero :stuck_out_tongue:
