I’m using Blynk PRO.
Can you please check why one of my users has disappeared automatically? The customer´s organization doesn’t have authority to delete it and neither I deleted it.
I’ve submitted this issue (ID:2331805075) using the BUG button in the web portal, please check it to get the user and e-mail details.
This user owns 14 devices (I still can see the devices under his user, however it does not appear in the user list, and of course, the customer cannot make login) please help me.
I’ve reported this issue so that you can have a chance to look into it (as it is now) and try to find the root-cause of the problem.
However, I cannot wait 3 to 5 business days for a reponse as my customer needs to access the app in order to control his operations.
What I would try to do now to solve the problem is to create a new user and transfer all 14 devices to this new user… and then reconfigure all events and push notifications etc.
I do not want to try this before you make an initial analysis of what happened.
I would really appreciate if you can provide any feedback asap.
In this case, the user was not supposed to have this permission, as it plays a role of “employee user”… can I invite him again as this deleted user still owns 14 devices?
I just did it. I reinvite the same e-mail and although the devices were already been owened by this e-mail… I had to transfer all 14 devices again to the same e-mail, and reconfigure all the notifications again. After all this work, the “employees users” were able to access the app again.
Below are my additional comments about this problem:
1-) The organization was set as Admin (myself) → Staff (customer) → User (Employess of my customer)
2-) In order to limit the access to some confidential tabs, I had to transfer all devices to the lowest level (users). In this way, they can olny have access to operational functions of our application.
3-) Myself and the Customer are able to access all tabs, however, we do not own any device.
4-) Some of these employees, playing around, decided to “delete account”, available under my profile → …
5-) This situation was not possible to be avoided as “delete user” available in the roles and permissions is only to avoid deleting other users, not the user itself (compliance).
Is there any way I can set the whole organization stuff to avoid this headache? Or any possibility to, once reinvited, the e-mail to assume all the previous owned devices/notifications?
