I’ve replaced the server-0.30.2-java8.jar file with the server-0.35.1-java8.jar file, and replaced its name in all startup files, but as soon as it starts, it crashes and closes command prompt before I can even read the error. I’m running on Windows 10.

First start your CMD then launch it manual, that way the error will stay on screen
