Turn blynk control on and off

Hello all, I am currently trying to turn blynk controls on and off within the loop. I am trying to add automation code within my project. Is there a way to turn on blynk to see if button is pressed and then immediately turn off control to the board if that virtual pin/ button is push? I would also need control to resume if button is turned off.

You could create timed function that would periodically connect to BLYNK, check for changes to buttons, take appropriate action, then disconnect. Or instead of a timed function, you could use a physical button.

What commands would I use to connect and then disconnect from blynk?
