Trigger alarm on phone running blynk

Hi,

Sorry if this is the wrong forum category. I am on the maker plan and looking for a way to trigger an alarm or play music on my phone which is running blynk when a virtual pin state is changed. The alarm app for blynk says you need to have the $99 a month pro plan. Is there any other way of being able to do this?

I seem to recall that there was an Android app that you cools use to provide additional functionality that you could trigger via Blynk.
I’m an iOS user, so can’t remember its name and don’t know whether it’s still available I’m afraid.

You can try the music player widget if enabled in maker plan and control play/stop with the virtual pin

The music play app doesn’t play music on your phone, it’s just a widget that sends play/stop/next/previous commands to your hardware device.
If you have some suitable hardware attached to your device and appropriate code then the widget can be used to control that hardware.
