Transferring a device to a sub organization

I want to transfer some of my devices to another organization, when I hover over the action menu I don’t get a transfer organization tab, only a user option, which asks for an email.

Hello Bill,
That’s correct: devices are assigned to users and can’t be put directly to an organization (that’s the way hierarchy and inheritance work), so you have to transfer them to a certain organization’s user.
In case you need this device to be kept in the organization with no owner click Actions Menu - Clear Device Owner. Please mind that there are different settings applied to Owned and Organization devices.

We’ll improve that at some point and will allow to transfer to the org as well.
