Tell customers when they hit the widget limit

Hi all,

I have a feature request.

I discovered that when adding 13 text labels, the 13th does not render and no error is displayed.

Workaround: Delete a label that you don’t need, then delete and re-create the 13th text label to get it to render.

@eepetrash on GitHub suggested that I may have hit the widget limit for my pricing tier: #223 (comment)

It would be helpful if Blynk tells customers when they hit the widget limit, which would prompt them to upgrade (instead of staying silent).

Hi Nick,

Created a request to fix the error.
Thanks for the feedback.

It would actually be nice to be able to see how many widgets have already been used in a dashboard before you hit the limit, in a similar way that you can see how many devices or users you’ve used out of your quota. That would help with planning if some changes are needed to an existing dashboard as it’s quite tedious to go through and count the widgets, and it’s easy to miss things like tabs when you do that.

Pete.
