[Solved] Issues with multiple devices on one dashboard

Here is the progression of this issue.

I set up one Particle Photon to talk to Blynk and had success. I then saw you can add a second device to the same dashboard just by using the same auth ID in both sketches. My issue has been as soon as I push the code to the second device the blynk app continually floats between saying the device is offline and online about once every 5 seconds. Both sketches work fine on independent auth IDs in separate dashboards. I even went as far as stripping down the second sketch to the very bare minimums of the include, Blynk.begin, and Blynk.run with no luck.

Thanks for any help.

Interesting. Could you please enable Blynk Debug and show us console output? http://docs.blynk.cc/#troubleshooting-enable-debug

Hi, I just posted without seeing your post. I have exactly the same issue with 2 Esp on 1 dashboard

@favstuff @tyler785 any debug output please?

Sorry for the delay. I got pretty busy and wasn’t able to get back to run this test.

Here is the log output for about 30 seconds while I had the blink app running as it was bouncing between states:

@tyler785 thanks. Don’t see any disconnections. Was app showing “not in network” at that time?

No, the only message I saw was the one about the device being offline. If I get time tonight I’ll try to do a debug on my other device to see if I see anything out of the ordinary.

Ok I would like to see what is happening on both devices when you see message “device when offline”. As I was not able to reproduce issue.

Sorry its been so long but I finally got time to work on this issue again. I took your advice and got serial working on the 2nd device and I noticed it was getting a flood error. I was pushing to an LED widget in the loop so it was over loading it! My bad! I figured I would post this incase others have the same issue as me. Thanks for the support!
