Hi. I am having some issues with Blynk connecting to a Wemos D1 mini.
After a LOT of headscratching, I finally managed to get the Wemos connected to Wi-fi, only to be greeted with “[hostByName] Host: blynk-cloud.com lookup error: -5!”
It tries to connect via port 80, which I think should be 8080?
I downloaded everything today, so all libraries should be up to date.
Any tips?

To be honest, getting a D1 Mini connected to Wi-Fi, and to Blynk is extremely simple and shouldn’t require any head scratching, especially if you use one of the Sketch Builder examples like this:

All you need to change in the sketch is your Wifi SSID, Wi-Fi Password and Blynk Auth code then upload it.
My guess is that you’ve gone down the route of specifying the IP address for the Wemos, along with the Gateway and DNS server and have doe this incorrectly, so that the device can’t resolve Blynk cloud server URL.
