Hi Dmitriy! I’m writing a SparkFun tutorial on our weather station, and I’m demonstrating lots of Blynk widgets. I’d like readers to be able to get shared access to our app and to clone their own. The QR scanner within Blynk doesn’t seem to get able to grab the following clone QR code, whereas a different QR app is able to kind of capture it (doesn’t report full contents of code but IDs it as a QR code).
Problem code:
Have I crossed a limit? This app has 18+ widgets and tabs. It’s a big one! I’m happy to reduce the number of widgets, just let me know.
It’s a known issue, especially for some Samsung devices. Next release (which will be released soon) will have some improvements for QR scanning, the main one is enable/disable autofocus support, which usually causes described by you behaviour.
New release of Blynk (v2.0.2 for me) has QR scanner changes. Looks like I can turn off auto-focus. Neat. The scanner is blistering fast with a share QR code but I cannot get the larger code to scan.
Curiously, the QR code I provided above does not resolve with online QR interpreters such as this one. Perhaps it is corrupted?
So I generated another QR code from within Blynk:
This one resolves with the following data using the online interpreter but I cannot get it to scan from within the Blynk app.
