OTA Webserver with password

WebServer HTTP update with authentication

I’m pretty new to the whole Arduino world, so i have a few questions about my project. Around 1.5 year ago, i started using the Arduino for a smart led strip, and its working fine, i can control the led strip with mqtt. Sometimes i wanna change something within the Arduino, but sadly the OTA function that you can use within the Arduino program isnt always working for me. I’m trying to improve this for me, so i wanna use a webinterface update, something like this:

This is working fine when i implement the OTA webupdate sketch into the main one. The dangerous thing about this is that it doesnt have any password protection, so i wanna make a easy authentication, something like this: https://i.stack.imgur.com/kPMeh.png

The last thing i wanna do is to remove the current update part with the Arduino program, so i dont have 2 ways to update the arduino, only with the webinterface. i hope someone can help me out!

(i copied the code from the author, it doesnt have the webupdater implemented)
