I thought I could create up to ten templates with one device for each under the free version of Blynk IOT. I have two templates each with one device. I’ve added another template, but when I try to make a device from it (click New device) i get The following error:

You’ve reached the device limit. Remove one device or upgrade to add more devices.
Am I misunderstanding something or has something gone wrong?
Pete
It is an old one, i suspect, started years ago when i used to run a local server.
I’ve struggled to learn Blynk IOT since the local servers were discontinued, only recently making progress, but that’s cone to a halt now i can’t make anything new.
Yeah, thanks for that Pete. When the local servers were abandoned, my opinion of Blynk went from great to disgusted instantly. With this latest development my opinion has sunk even further. $100 a month is crazy, even for commercial users. Blynk feels like a hobby solution to the otherwise complicated node red, IFTT, MQTT world that the commercial guys can already exploit. I wouldn’t want Blynk to fold, but only because of the work of the existing users, but if it did go under they’ve only themselves to blame.
