Same here… I would have moved to a new platform but there really doesn’t seem to be a viable alternative for me.
Kdyby jste někdo našel lepší tak mě o ní řekněte.
there is nothing better than Blynk, but we will surely have to start all over again.
So wait and see.
the announcement is 45 days old only

The customisable GUI was one of the benefits of Blynk… but hard to say if the sequel will be as good for my type of needs.
Meanwhile, I have been working on other life & hardware projects and dabbling a bit more with Virtuino and MIT App Inventor.
Virtuino is so ugly

Jo to je
So I am confused here(easily done!) has the beta release gone out to the lucky few yet(as I signed up) or is it delayed. Just wondering if I was one of the chosen few or not
Cheers

subscriptions were lost
I certainly don’t have access to the beta version, and I’ve not heard of anyone else that does.
I think the announcement was a bit of a vapourware delaying tactic, as they promised it by the end of March.
I’m sure you’ll hear lots of comments once it does actually surface.
Pete.
thanks pete - i did wonder it seems very quiet!!
Will the new app talk to the precent self hosted server or will the hole thing be shoot down by Blynk 2?
All will be shut down.
If you’re not beta tester, you will have to pay.
It would be very nice for the Blynk team, as a token of appreciation to all the contributors, to release the old local server as public domain/open source code for non commercial use.
And isn’t it open source (the server) from the beginning?? https://github.com/blynkkk/blynk-server
The app has a proprietary code, but the server an libraries ARE OS.
You’re rt, my bad. never looked into local server’s code. Then we just need the app code to be public
Dream dream …
We will never get the app code

maybe, in ten years , it will be in public domain !
We do have node red but a native app is what most people want.
