🔔 New Feature: Blynk MCP Server to Manage Your Platform from AI Coding Tools

Hey Blynkers,

We’ve released the Blynk MCP server, which lets AI coding tools interact directly with your Blynk platform.

With MCP, tools like Claude Code, VS Code (Copilot), Cursor, and other MCP-compatible editors can create templates, configure datastreams, manage devices, and read telemetry — all from your editor.

Example:

“Create a template for a temperature and humidity monitor.”

The MCP server will create the template, add datastreams with correct types and ranges, and provision a device. What used to take minutes of manual setup can now be done with a single prompt.

What you can do

  • Create and configure device templates
  • Provision and manage devices
  • Read live datastream values
  • Control devices through datastreams
  • Inspect and search your device fleet

The MCP server works alongside the Blynk AI Platform Assistant in the console: use MCP from your editor for setup and management, then configure dashboards and automations in the Blynk Console.

Getting started
Just add the Blynk MCP server URL to your MCP-compatible tool and authenticate with your Blynk account. No installation required.
