Using The Things Stack, Blues, or AWS IoT Core with Blynk? Or sending data via HTTP(S)? Devices that periodically send data but don’t maintain a constant connection can now be marked as online when data is received as expected.
What’s new?
With the “Log when device reports any data” setting, your device will stay online for a set period after sending data, even if it doesn’t maintain a continuous connection.
Who needs to enable this?
• If you’re using Blynk’s integrations with TTS, Blues, or AWS IoT Core, be sure to turn this setting ON so Blynk relies on the last reported data instead of a login event to determine if the device is online.
• Using HTTP(S)? If your device sends data but doesn’t keep a connection to the Blynk server, this update is for you!
Try it now and keep your device tracking more accurate than ever!
Cheers!
