New Android release 1.11.1. Float number formatting options

Hello.
According to your feedback we did quick release with only 1 feature - formatting options for float numbers.
This feature available for LCD and Labeled Value widgets.

Let’s assume, your sensor sends number 12.6789 to Blynk application.

Next formatting options supported:

  • /pin/ - displays the value without formatting (12.6789)
  • /pin./ - displays the rounded value without decimal part (13)
  • /pin.#/ - displays the rounded value with 1 decimal digit (12.7)
  • /pin.##/ - displays the rounded value with two decimal places (12.68)

and so on…

Enjoy.

this doesn´t seem to work. When I typed in /pin.#/ the color switched from green to white and the letters were display instead of the value with one decimal… just /pin/ worked fine but showed me three decimals…

@macalb maybe you are on iOS?

yes, in deed I am. I wasn´t aware that this option doesn´t work on iOS…

I should have read the title first. It says "New Android release… ". Will this feature be available in iOS too?

Sure, but as always with 2 week delay because of Apple review process.

wonderful - I mean the feature not the review process

Sorry I’m on mobile but is there a way to make the values and names larger on the Value Display S? This shows before and after this update on my Samsung s5. https://m.imgur.com/a/W4A02 It just seems like a lot of wasted screen real estate! Thanks.

@structure7 We will fix. Sorry for inconveniences.

No worries. Thanks for the app updates!

The value font size has halved? Tiny numbers!

Why you do this!

Great! Was trying to figure out how to do this yesterday. Keep up the good work.

@Dmitriy How come Blynk now needs access to photos and videos?

@snowman hm… Look like this is 3-d party library requirement. Thank you for reporting. We will fix it next release.

@Dave1829 Fixing right now…

No problem, I just thought it was odd. Always great to see you guys keeping on top of things.

Careful, It might be used fo sharing QR codes and saving them to photos

@Dmitriy Sorry, but the font is still too small, can you make it the same size as it was before?

@Dave1829 Is that 1.11.2?

Unfortunately, yes, it is the new one…
