I have an issue using nodemcu v1.0 wifi with the ssl library since march, 16.
Connection To blynk server port 443 is ok, seen in the serial monitor but in the blynk android application the module appears not connected.
If i try with the blynk simple 8266 not SSL it works good ! What ls the problem ?.

SSL is no longer supported when using the Blynk cloud servers.
There are numerous topics on this subject from 2 weeks ago.

It is actually not acceptable that SSL is not working anymore and that they dont even care to fix it. It is a final straw for me NOT to pay any money for this at all. I was on the edge of getting myself some energy to build projects but this shows me that this isnt worth it. How can you use unencrypted communication for seriously security related projects? This is absolutely ridiculous.
If you want security then host your own Blynk server and install a certificate and use SSL. You can also add additional security measures if you wish.
You can also award yourself as much free energy as you want.
