Installation/Deployment of Private Blynk Server on a web host

Hello Blynkers,

I was wondering if I can deploy the Private Blynk server on a web host. I just need that to manage the firmware update of a connected microcontroller (STM32F4) over internet.

you sure can.

The instructions are pretty good for the server install.

two tips, one for your userid and another to eliminate the problem completely : after you create your account, you should be able to see a new file ‘yourname@email.user’. Verify that file is in your working directory. Your working directory is the directory you told blynk to use when you started the server. As you are setting it up, some things that catch people are the certs and the ports to connect to. Every now and then mail setup is an issue, but usually solved by re-reading the mail setup section.
