Hi
I need some help regarding my Blynk account.
My registered email: mahendiranunited1@gmail.com
Account created on: 25/11/2024
I received a message saying my Blynk Console account would be removed due to inactivity, but I didn’t see the email earlier and noticed it only after the deadline. This account contains my ESP32 IoT project dashboards and configurations, which are very important for my work.
Is there any way to recover or reactivate my account now? Has anyone faced a similar issue before? What should I do next?
Any guidance would be really helpful.
Thank you!
Hello @Mahendira .
There are quite a few posts on the forum on this topic, for example:
@Alx-I I checked the servers, there is no such account with such email. That is, the system itself has already deleted it. In this case, unfortunately, it is no longer possible to restore the account. Sorry, but in this case we can no longer help.
That’s why I added an example of the situation in the link above.
shouldnt you notice me before deleting it?
@asdesz1 We do not delete anyone. The system deletes automatically. If the user has not logged into the account for 6 months, he receives a letter. You received a letter with a notification of inactivity and a warning of 7 days. If the user does not log into the account within these seven days, the system automatically deletes the account.
If the system has already automatically deleted the account due to inactivity, then it is no longer possible to…
Hello. Yes, we do remove old and unused accounts on the cloud server once per 6 months. In most cases if you don’t use Blynk for 6 months you don’t need old projects. Also for 6 months we do so many changes that it is better to start again over :). We will try to do not remove accounts anymore. But we can’t guarantee that.
No, you don’t. If you want to “save” project settings you may just use clone feature - Introduction - Blynk Documentation .
In your case, the system has already automatically deleted your account. Unfortunately, recovery is no longer possible.
