Then try some simple projects to get a good understanding of BLYNK and how it works. Once you have the basics down, then move on to more complex projects (such as a BLYNK Alarm Clock).

Plus you will need some knowledge with wiring and such. Depending on how you want to display the time, get alerted (Siren, Strobe, etc.), and other features, you will need to know how to hook them all up to your ESP-8266 BLYNK Device.
