bought monthly plan (of 9.99 SGD / month) back in July 2023, intended only for 1 month use. Cancelled it during that 1 month to ensure it doesnt charge me again in future.
Now I come to find out its been charging me monthly all the way til now, about a year, last charge was around 17-19 September 2024.
I tried to cancel it via app, then realised they actually deactivated my account as ive been inactive? Yet the account is still continually being charged despite being removed/invalid. Now i cant even log in to the account to remove the charges simply because my account doesnt exist or something, I have written down my old password and email used. I even have the existing emails i received from Blynk, telling me that they will deactivate my account after inactivity. Had to create this account to make this Post.
Can anyone help me stop the charges, even though I cancelled subscription in app way long ago, my money just burning for no reason.
Ive attached pictures of the inactivity emails sent to me by Blynk.
Email of account should be kaneng2004@gmail.com, as they sent the emails to mentioned account. The subscription was from iOS. Cant log in back through iOS app as they keep saying wrong password or username. I have the username and password jotted down in my notes since last year, so not sure whats wrong.
I checked your subscription via this email in the archive. And I didn’t find any old subscriptions in the archive.
I think you had two accounts:
Free with email kaneng2004@gmail.com. According to your letter about inactivity in the account for 6 months. In theory, this account was deleted in December.
Plus monthly plan with another email. We don’t know what this email might be.
Yes, that’s correct. As of today, there is no account with this email. I assume it was removed in December. I’m basing my guess on your screenshot.

We recommend you to contact App Store and try to cancel.
Also look at the list of active subscriptions in your app store account and try to cancel.
