I’ve got an app that controls a water tank level with a ping. Works great.
I want to use it as the base for another similar app with more valves and a more complex rule-set. I duplicated the original template but when I make additions to the second spawn they show up on the original app.
How do I detach the spawn?

OK, bumping an old post. This project has finally come back into the queue. Here are the screen shots.
If I make any changes to the controls on the GeorgetownTank app. They also shows up on the RanceTank side. Does this have anyththing to do with the fact they are sourced from the same template?
If yes, is there a way to replicate an application and data-stream set so as not to have to build it up from the ground?

Yes. All devices based on the same template share the same dashboard layout.
I think you actually mean replicate a template.
A template can be duplicated by clicking the three dots in the template screen in the web console and choosing Duplicate.
