No, there are no practical limitations.
If you want to use SuperChart then only 1 data point is recorded in the database every minute, for each virtual pin. However, that’s the same if you create your own local server. You can send more frequent updates, but they’ll be averaged-out over a 1 minute period and the result stored in the database.
