Console account blocked

Hello. Following, in " " , it is the issue that is happening to a friend blynker who is not able to submit the topic to this Community, since he is blocked.

“On September 30th I received an email from Blynk indicating that my Blynk Console account would be removed in 7 days due to non-use, but that by logging in before the deadline, I would cancel that action. Since that moment I am trying to reconnect to Blynk, but it does not recognize my account and/or my password, nor does it allow me to reset my password. I would appreciate some indication to resolve this situation. Creating a new account would not allow me to save my completed projects. Thank you in advance.”

Any commnets are wellcome!

Hello @Joseislas

This message comes if the user has not logged into the account for half a year. This is correct.

The password recovery function works. It is constantly checked
If the letter does not arrive to the mailbox, then this is a problem with the mail client on the user’s side.

Hi Oleksii,
Thanks a lot for your answer. In fact, no question about Blynk policy on non-active members. The important issue is why password recovery function does not work, to allow recovery within the allowed time period. And I state that is not working because other emails sent by blynk team are arriving to mailbox these days.
Is there any way to report to you the affected account in order you to check?

Even more…
I have the impression that the account has already been removed, since I have observed that a request for a new account with the same user identity is allowed and the reply arrives in the mailbox.

@Joseislas

If the account was deleted, then it is no longer possible to check anything.

This means that the account has been deleted and now it is possible to register it with the same email address.

Solutions and tips for the future:

  1. Login to your account at least once within 6 months. I think it is not difficult.
  2. Make your password strong, don’t forget it, write it down in a safe place.

Oleksii,

If the account has already been deleted, and everything seems to indicate that it has, that means that BLYNK has not respected the seven-day period allowed for password reactivation. I’m sorry to say, and It´s not easy for me speaking bad of Blynk, that this isn’t really fair play.

Okay, I can reactivate the account, but not recover my projects. For a free account and a developer in the eighties who just wants to keep the flame of when he started working with Fortran, it’s not a big deal, just that I like to work by keeping rules. This is my tip to you.

Thank you very much again for your time and recommendations.

In case you have not additional comments, I´ll proceed to close this topic.

Sorry, but this is not true. As I already said, the password recovery function works. Including during the seven-day period, if the user has not logged into the account for half a year.

And as I said, this feature is constantly being tested by our testing team.
Your case is very rare. As a rule, this problem is related to the user side, mail clients.
If you have noticed that there are very rare cases on the forum when a user cannot recover a password.

You have already stated that account is deleted. How is that possible if on September 30th I was informed that the account will be deleted in 7 days?

From September 30. I have tried the password recovery procedure several times without success. However, yesterday I tried to create a new account with the same email address and I received the welcome message back on my maibox.

@Joseislas I don’t know your email address. You didn’t write it in this post. I assumed that your account was deleted, due to the fact that you wrote, you can now create an account with the same email.

you can now create an account with the same email.

This behavior indicates that this account does not exist.

Also, in the future, when creating posts, please read this
https://community.blynk.cc/t/recommendations-for-creating-a-new-topic-in-forum/65374

What I mean is that need to write as much information as possible. A video recording, screenshots of the problem would be desirable.

This is the first time I submit a topic to this forum. Of course, the first thing I did was to read you recommendations, and I don´t see what I made wrong.

Form the very begining, if you considered that I should indicate my email address, you should ask for it, so simple. I didn´t it because this is a public forum .

In your last answer I noticed that you were upset. I’m sorry if it was because of my comments, that wasn’t my intention,

That´s all from my side. For me the topic is close.

Thank and have a nice day and weekend!
