Good afternoon. In my project I have to connect to a WiFi subnet and I don’t know how to do it, if it is possible or not. Thank you, I would appreciate, if possible, a little guidance. all the best
That doesn’t make much sense. Can you explain exactly what you’re trying to achieve, and what you think a WiFi subnet is?
Pete.
Good afternoon Pete, I have a Wi-Fi network, but to connect, I have to enter the network name plus username and then the password. There are three pieces of information. In blynk egent, I can only enter username and password. I don’t know how to put the third one.
Is this some sort of business or university WiFi portal system?
Pete.
It is a business portal and I don’t know how to make the program so that it puts all the necessary data. Can be done?
Okay, so it’s a captive portal that you’re trying to connect to, not a subnet.
I don’t have any experience of connecting to these using Edgent, so can’t really help I’m afraid.
Pete.
good Pete. It is not a captive portal since I don’t get a page where I can password and access it.
It is a network within another network. It was made expressly for this process. A portal like the ones you say this is. Please, if someone knows how to access it, help me. Would I have to take another step above?
There are various types of captive portal, not just the type in your example.
I don’t really understand that comment, but your simplest solution would be to creat a regular SSID/Password secured network for the devices to connect to.
Pete.
Thanks Pete, I’ll consider it, since it would be too complicated. a greeting and thanks for your help
