Program error using ESP8266

Hi Guys Hoping you can help again. Thanks PeterKnight for the previous assistance. I had my Blynk working well but occasionally WiFi would drop out and I had to restart it by powering down and up again. That’s fine but the whole idea was to have it working while I was away. I found this segment of program that would check it if it went down and it would restart. Well I have inserted it into my program but I keep getting a compilation error of "a function-definition is not allowed here befo…

As you a now using different hardware, and therefore will have needed to make some changes to your code, I’d suggest that you do the following…

1. explain exactly what type of ESP32 Dev board you are using.
2. post your ESP32 code.
3. explain what you see in your serial monitor when you disable your WiFi

Your 12v/5v rail and relay information meant nothing to me, as you’ve not share any info about your hardware setup.
