Can the i2c data lines be stretched for about 75 feet, where my pi is master (placed in living room) and arduino(placed in some room) as slave

No, 75 feet is too far for I2C. You need RS485 or something for that. I’d recommend using ESP’s and hook them up via Wifi :slight_smile:

No it will not probably. RS485 is a totally different serial protocol, but it can travel the distance. I don’t even know if Arduino’s can talk RS485
