The Tile Icon can’t change!! I want the ‘home’ icon, but it keeps showing the default icon (refer the Autogate Icon Tile from photo below). Other settings like shape, color, and mode work fine, just the icon did not update. I tried changing to other tile type, and revert back to button type, still not working. Is it because I am using a free account? Help.

Tiles are using the device’s icon - you can change that icon in the device info screen.
Hi. I’m using Android on Poco X3 Pro (MIUI).
Device info in the app? I guessed I showed it in the pic above (wrench icon > nut icon), and I had changed the tile icons there, but still the icon did not update, it is still the default icon. Anyway, it appeared correctly in developer mode (pic below). Huh, bugged. But still it did not solve my problem, I need the ‘home’ icon to show at the main Blynk menu.
Console? You mean the web dashboard on my computer right? I don’t think it got anything to do with the tile icon in the app. But anyway I tried to change every possible icon to my desired ‘home’ icon in the console. Went back to the app and still nothing. I tried reinstalling the app, but it still give the default icon. Ugh… so frustrating.
And I found out what this so called ‘default’ icon is… it is actually the ‘no icon’ option, hope this gives a clue. So I switched to this ‘no icon’, the select a ‘lamp’ icon, closed the app, reopen the app, and still it shows ‘no icon’. Arggghhhh!!
An update here. I found out how to change the icon. In the app, go to device information > device name > then select the icon. But the problem is, it works on my ‘streetlight’ device, but not on my ‘autogate’ device, the arrow is missing!!! Hopefully someone from the Blynk admin can address this, is it something that a free plan cannot alter or is it a bug?
May it be that you are not an owner of Autogate device? It looks like you have no permission to edit it.
The owner for Autogate and Streetlight are the same. It states my name. Weird. I hope the admin can fix the tile icon such that it matches with the tile settings (wrench icon), not the device information (3 dots). I’ll just live with it for the time being, but it’s just kinda annoying.
It will always reflect the device information icon. Not sure we will change that, looks like we will remove tile settings option to select those icons of on/off states, which are obsolete now.
