Blynk cannot purchase the energy pack

my blynk account cannot purchase a energy pack , what is the problem , anyone can help me?

You’ve put this question under the Blynk 2.0 category, so I assume that you are using the new Blynk IoT (Blynk 2.0) platform?

Blynk IoT doesn’t use Energy, instead it has three subscription levels that provide different levels of functionality…

If the Blynk 2.0 category was a mistake and you are still using the original version of Blynk (now known as Blynk Legacy) then purchasing additional energy has been stopped because the product will be retired on 31st December this year, when the Blynk Legacy cloud servers will be switched off and all projects that use Blynk Legacy will stop working.

What EXACTLY is it that you are trying to achieve?

Pete.

Purchases are turned off, as platform will be closed very soon.

so how to subscribe the levels that provide with different levels of functionality?

still cannot open because i am urgent to use a blynk legacy with complete my project in IoT

If you follow the link I provided I’m sure you’ll be able to figure it out.

Pete.

which link ?

Pete.

So it is safe to say that Kickstarter backers do not get any “perks” anymore? :pensive: Is there any kind of transition process or tutorial for moving Legacy projects to Blynk 2.0 or are we going to have to rebuild projects with 2.0?

I think the kickstarter benefits are long gone.

You can’t migrate projects to Blynk IoT, but most code requires very little modification to work with IoT.
There are a number of posts about this, including this one…

I still had perks from Blynk the entire time it was “Blynk”. I was provided 100,000 Energy for my kickstarter pledge. Essentially, Blynk (Blynk Legacy) was abandoned and everyone has to transition to the new Blynk IoT? Ouch. I am just a little shocked by the abandonment is all.

I did notice the options are very minimal for the free version - 2 devices. Oh well, I guess. :man_shrugging: It was a good run.

It was more of a re-write to fix some underlying structural issues, and a move to a subscription based system that would generate o gong finds, rather than a one-off payment followed by a “lifetime” commitment to providing support.
That energy based system appealed to users, but didn’t provide the revenue to support the company in its development aims.

There was an “Early Adopter” bonus to allow people to recoup some of their earlier energy investment, but that is also long gone.
