I have a Maker account with a Login email that is about to made obsolete by the hosting service.
I could not see a way to change to my new email address so I created a new Blynk account using my new email address as login and then added this user as admin to my original account projects.
This has given me access to my original account projects with my new login but with further thought this may not have been a good idea and there may be ongoing issues such as.
My Maker plan payment invoices will be sent to an email address that doesn’t exist.
A password reset cannot be made for the Maker account as the email will not be delivered.
Ideally I would like to have one account (Maker) with the new login address.
Can someone from Blynk advise how this be achieved without losing my current templates and devices?
Hi and my sincere thanks for replying
My user login is webbpj@tne.net.au. This email domain is being retired by my Provider.
I have a maker plan.
In an effort to solve this problem myself, I created a new Blynk account under my new email of webbpj@tpg.com.au and then added this user as admin to devices in my original account.
This may not have been a good idea.
What I would like if possible is to have my maker account and the existing templates and devices transferred to the webbpj@tpg.com.au
Is there anything more I should do? Such as transfer ownership of devices to the new webbpj@tpg.com.au.
account?
Can template ownership also be transferred?
Do I now simply use the new account for all logins, changes and new devices and ignore the old @tne.net.au account?
Will the old account simply remain dormant or should/can it be deleted after I transfer device ownership.
