Using both Blynk and reading data from my own local server at the same time

I tried several test projects using both Blynk (write and read) and reading data from my own local server at the same time in a project (using Wifi on ESP8266). The first ca 10 iterations it works but it always crashed or hangs for some reason and I could never find an adequate solution. My local server is just an extra ESP8266 giving the temperature by HTTP
Anyone have a good working example for me?

@ccmoods probably worth you posting your sketches for both ESP’s.

And what exactly is crashes? App, hardware?

I do all the nessecary stuf
In setup:
WiFi.config(ip, gateway, subnet);
WiFi.begin(ssid, pass);
Blynk.config(auth);
etc
In Run:
Blynk.run();

And in void (on timer or from run every 10 sec or so):
client.connect(host, httpPort)// connection to my local other ESP to read a a remote temperature
etc,etc
client.close

After a while ( ca 10-50 iterations) a connection to my local other ESP can not be made anymore. I did a lot of debugging and Wifi seems working/on not generating a bad code anyway. I looks like the HW is working,
Only when I reset it will work ok again.

I will do that tomorrow. Thx.

Got enough power going to your ESP?
Also I discovered that a very hot (or hard working) ESP will disconnect more often…
