i am on 2.16.7 and cant log in to local server?
i put 28.7-java8 on local server but still just three spinning dots in the app?
i can see this page: https://192.168.0.7:9443/admin and all seems OK?
PLUS it is still sending notifications as usual, just cant log in to the app on my Samsung S6E or another S4
I updated to LS 0.28.7 and have all my projects on Lib 0.4.10 (well the RPi seems stuck on 0.4.7) and Apps on 2.16.7 (and just tested one with 2.16.5). All seem to log in and run OK.
I will update the older App and log-in fresh to test… Worked OK with fresh login as well.
So you have other projects running, but just can’t login afresh?
i doubt all my projects are on latest Lib, but not sure how much that matters?
i have projects running sending notifys, but app is not loading projects…
app just sits on Connecting… screen
For functionality, lots… for simply logging in, probably not.
Have you killed off the server and restarted again… confirm the version that loads, I think it should be a SNAPSHOT of slightly higher version.

the server is working, it’s the app that’s not…
is this a certificate thing?
Then make sure to cleanly wipe the App off the phone and reload? I just did on a really old NexusS phone (4.4.4), man is that thing slow now, and the KB obscures the custom IP window, so typing blind, but it logged in fine and is working.
@Dave1829 there are 2 version 2.16.7’s. The first one doesn’t work with older Android’s. Make sure you have the new 2.16.7. Keep refreshing the Store page if you have to until you see it contains the fix for old Android phones.
My updates and clean install worked, so old version should be long gone by now… unless @Dave1829 hasn’t updated the App since over 12 hours ago??

tried on S4 running 4.3 Jelly Bean + S6 running Nougat
how do i revert to pre- 2.16.7
that was working fine…
The spinning dots suggests it’s not the 2.16.7 bug as that simply crashed the app.
It’s wise to save all your old apk’s though.
Probably some server issue at your side.
if i log out, then log back in - it just sits on Connecting…
the only thing that has changed is app version.
I have to pop out now but if you are still struggling later I can send you a link to 2.16.2 (2.16.5 if you prefer).
it only failed 15 hrs ago, so anything before the 2.16.7 should help…
i’ve been struggling all day,
got home 4 hrs ago, rebooted server, zilch, updated server, zilch… swapped phones, zilch… etc…
(at least all my lights are not controlled by Blynk… yet…)

on multiple devices? and only since ~7am AEST?
What about your settings?
Double check the IP provided for Log in.
I use my public IP and I have to be aware about it just in case there’s any change.
double check what settings? my router? which bits (router n00b here!)
nothing has been actively changed by me in the past 24hrs… but can my router change things?
