Now can you supply some details such as…

Phone type

Phone OS

App version

Library version

Both phone and device on same network? (I.E both connected to your internal routers WiFi?

Etc.

And this? Granted as long as the phone (via WiFi or Cell) and device (WiFi) both have Internet access they should connect to the Cloud Server.

Can you try pinging blynk-cloud.com from both your phone and a computer on the same network as your ESP. Show the results for both here.

Hi Gunner,

i face same problem as Moner’s.
i tried pinging both from my pc and phone, and both are OK.

if i used different network for my esp8266, it works.
however, with my home wifi, it doesn’t.
i’m not an IT guy, would you recommend which area should i shoot first?

Then try connecting your ESP with the supplied IP instead of blynk-cloud.com

I don’t know… could be port forwarding, could be ISP blocking…

Blyn doesn’t use telnet that I am aware of… just HTTP

I found the solution, the isp block port 80, so i just need to define the port which are opened and then connect it.
