I propose an addition to the Time Input widget, adding a Simple or Advanced setting (like the LCD), where the current setup is ‘Advanced mode’ which it just provides the time data from the widget.
A Simple mode could be added which writes one of two values to a pin depending on whether the time period is active or not, taking into account the days of the week, sunset/sunrise and timezone. It would work somewhat like the Timer widget, but with user selectable input.
I think this would be very helpful for a lot of people. What do you all think?
