Hello Blynkers. I have already tried linking the ESP8266 with the Arduino Uno earlier and had it working with my Macbook. Unofortunately since then my Mac had crashed and I had to buy another laptop. Now, when setting up the firmware for this, I now see that the ESP8266 does not respond to the AT commands on the Arduino Serial Monitor IDE. The red light on the ESP8266 lights up but the blue light does not blink except for the first time I connect it. Can anyone give me a step by step way on how I can get this back up and running as soon as possible on a MAC? Thank you so much guys
You can try this. http://m.instructables.com/id/Connect-to-Blynk-using-ESP8266-as-Arduino-Uno-wifi/
It is outdated though. I’m planning on updating it this week. The only difference is that you need to use the hardser files instead of the simple shield ones
