Setting up edison for nodejs

hey there, i am trying to install blynk library on edison. I have already set up my edison and was able to run blink and connect to internet. when i try to install blynk via npm, i get this

`yp ERR! cwd /usr/lib/node_modules/mraa
gyp ERR! node -v v0.10.38
gyp ERR! node-gyp -v v1.0.1
gyp ERR! not ok

npm ERR! mraa@0.9.1 install: `node-gyp rebuild`
npm ERR! Exit status 1
npm ERR!
npm ERR! Failed at the mraa@0.9.1 install script.
npm ERR! This is most likely a problem with the mraa package,
npm ERR! not with npm itself.
npm ERR! Tell the author that this fails on your system:
npm ERR! node-gyp rebuild
npm ERR! You can get their info via:
npm ERR! npm owner ls mraa
npm ERR! There is likely additional logging output above.
npm ERR! System Linux 3.10.17-poky-edison+
npm ERR! command "node" "/usr/bin/npm" "install" "-g" "mraa" "blynk-library"
npm ERR! cwd /home/root
npm ERR! node -v v0.10.38
npm ERR! npm -v 1.4.28
npm ERR! not ok code 0
`any clues?

@vshymanskyy hello can you help please?

It’s no problem with the blynk yet, it’s mraa.
Just skip installing mraa! You will be able to use blynk, but it won’t allow direct pin operations.
MRAA is maintained by Intel, so if it is broken, they will fix it soon (hopefully).

yeah i was able to set up blynk only. I works fine. However I want the mraa library also for other easy sensor api implementation using js in intel xdk. somehow flashing the edison with the yocto firmware already adds mraa. isn’t there a way that I can just add blynk library on top of that without erasing existing mraa/upm library??
is there any way that blynk library comes out of the box in future firmware images distributed by intel so that when we use phone flash tool kit, it already installs blynk library?
