connections or connectors? if connections what connections are you using now i got the same problem
@guido010, generally speaking, adding a “Me Too” comment to a post like this isn’t the most appropriate way to resolve your problem. It’s usually better to start a new thread and describe your setup and the results you’re seeing in detail, including code and wiring diagrams where appropriate.
Many people tend to run into problems when prototyping a project using a breadboard. The connectors on breadboards can often be poor and lead to strange results. It’s also very easy to mis-wire your project using a breadboard.
It’s also important to use an appropriate pin to connect your sensor, and which pins are appropriate will depend on the type of board you’re using, and to declare the pin that you’re using in your code. People using NodeMCU/Wemos type boards often get the pin numbers screen printed onto the board confused with GPIO numbers, which is why a wiring diagram or photo comes in handy.
