Raspberry Pi video stream to blynk!

Hi All,

I would like to connect the Pi camera to Raspberry and see it on my mobile through
BLYNK APPLICATION. IS IT POSSIBLE TO WATCH THE LIVE VIDEO STREAM WITH LOW LATENCY ?
PLEASE HELP ME WITH MY PROJECT.

Thanksyou,

The Blynk video stream widget takes an RTSP feed.

So can your Raspberry pi create a RTSP stream from your camera?

Low latency seems unlikely. I’ve used Blynk to stream video from a CCTV camera that produces an RTSP video stream and it’s a bit laggy. It does depend on your network capabilities, and whether your mobile phone is connected via the internet or directly to the network.

BTW, there’s NO NEED TO SHOUT!!

Pete.

Yeah.
But cctv driver is a bit slow on its own. When comparing with raspberry Pi processor, it’s a bit speed.

My CCTV video stream is very responsive when viewed in an RSTP viewer. The camera is designed for this one job and it’s very good at it.

The Pi might have a faster processor, but when it’s doing software encoding of a video stream it’s probably not that fast. Try it and see if you have any doubts.

Pete.

Yeah
I’ll try with the pi and I’ll update you soon.
Thankyou pete
