Hello, I discovered only recently about this project and i think it’s great. Just for curiosity, did you use something like ionic or xamarin to build the mobile app, or you developed for android and iOS separately?

We develop them separately. Blynk is truly native.
We did consider xamarin at start. But we declined it as Blynk uses many platform specific features - wi-fi, gps (in future), bluetooth (in future).

Could you please tell me why there is a problem using native features (wi-fi, Bluetooth, and GPS) with xamarin? Xamarin has very good support for this.
I think that 4 years on this is a bit of an academic question, as the decision was made, based on the capabilities back then, and the developers are hardly likely to want to do a U-turn now.
