Keep screen always on, not always happens

Dear Dmitriy, one small bug that I have for many Android versions of Blynk is the keep screen always on, that is not working reliably. Some times despite that it is selected for a project, the screen of the mobile phone is turned black. In this case to “remind” my selection to the system, it is necessary to stop the project, to go at configuration page and to turn on-off-on the keep screen always on, then back to project and reactivate. Now will be working for a while…

What device are you using and on what Android OS version?

Hello Sir,
well I have/use two smartphones and both exhibit this problem .

  1. Jiayu S3 Android 5.1.1
  2. Lenovo K3 Note Android 6.0
    Both running the latest Blynk app ( and the hardware running the latest Arduino Library ).

Yes, I can confirm this behaviour as described by @mikekgr. I just got used to it :slight_smile: (for the record: SG Note 3 -Android 4, SG Note 4- Android 6)

it is the same for me. sometimes i have to turn on-off-on the “keep screen always on” button.
but this behavior is from very long time, maybe 2 years. just didn’t bugged me too much.

phones:
motorola xt925 + android 4.4.2
samsung gt-i9300 + android 4.3
allview rainbow + android 2.3
but i think it is the same behavior with all phones…

Hi All,

We had reproduced the case when ‘keep screen on’ disables. The next release will contain a fix to it.
