Interesting WiFi signal strength variations

While not strictly a Blynk issue, I thought it might be interesting to some to see what happens to the wifi signal when an ESP32 is moved slightly. The image below shows three ESP32 devices, and the Spa (green trace) has a dramatic increase in signal strength simply because I moved it 10cm. The wifi router is about 15m from where the three devices are located. (Y axis is in %)

Out of interest, I returned the ESP32 to its original position to confirm that the move is what made the change in signal strength, and sure enough, the signal dropped to its earlier level

If you move the device’s orientation, vertical to horizontal, may make a lot of difference as well.
