Ifttt and local server

Hi all
thanks for blynk, i love it!

I’m a novice , and blynk is a good playground for me.
One question about the server side: with a local server , can i send the commands directly from the server ? (without my iphone) … and … can i link blynk with IFTTT?

thanks for all
Mirko

Hello. Yes. In day-two we will do announcement so I’ll provide instructions (HTTP API documentation) and update this topic.

Done. For local servers for now. Later we will also add Blynk channel for IFTTT.

Ok, so now we can send the blynk command directly from the server. Is it in the last release? We can testit?

Thanks
mirko

Yes. In 0.12.3

Sure.

That is is very neat!

It seems to work in basics, I can get my temperature and light pin status.

One thing I noticed, I have four pins which collect data from LDR’s (V0, V1, V2 and V3, where V3 is an average value). I write those to the pins like so:

``
Blynk.virtualWrite(V0, constrain(correctedLightRed, 0, 255));
Blynk.virtualWrite(V1, constrain(correctedLightGreen, 0, 255));
Blynk.virtualWrite(V2, constrain(correctedLightBlue, 0, 255));
Blynk.virtualWrite(V3, lampAverage);

But when I request to read to pins, the API gives me back the names of the pins of the history widget:

> ["one","two","three","avg"]

But of course I wanna see the actual value.

Nice catch. It was expected that every pin is connected with widget (that is not history graph)…
