How to save newly created Dashboard

Greetings,

I have spent considerable time making a dashboard within the BLYNK app. Is there some method to create a backup of this “dashboard”? For example if I updated the handset, or if I needed to re-load the factory image on my device.

I would not want to find myself in the situation “back to square one”, whereby having to study the original code to figure out what pins were used for what function.

Any help would be appreciated .

hi,
@Jonoscruzin ithink back up is not required , your hard ware configuration and dash board will be save to blynk cloud server if you are using cloud. and for local server it could be the same @Dmitriy me am right?

ps @Jonoscruzin you just simply use your existing account information no need to create new account. and that’s it.

Many thanks for clarifying that Castle. If the dashboard configuration is kept on the “cloud” server, say in the future I decide to run my own local server, how would one go about transferring this information from the cloud?

@Jonoscruzin your welcome, about the cloud account to local server our Blynk Admin @Dmitriy, @Pavel & @Costas can give you best idea regarding on your concerns.

You can use Clone Project

@Castle I am not part of “Blynk Admin” I am a fellow Blynker.

@Costas I Beg sorry for that, any way will just support them. Lol…

Check out http://docs.blynkapi.apiary.io/ (referenced here). You can generate a project clone QR code but also get your whole project. Both of those would be handy to stash somewhere if you’re concerned or trying to recreate your project layout in the app.

Also, I like to take a bunch of screenshots!
