How to connect iPhone direct to Pi 2 without internet?

Hi, I have downloaded Blynk onto my iPhone and designed my buttons. I would like to connect my iPhone to a Pi 2 so I can operate 8 relays. However I don’t want to use the internet so how do I connect my iPhone to my Pi2 directly using Blynk? Thanks Alex

I suggest to build up a local blynk server on your PI. I did this with my synology nas server and it works find.

Please read documentation => enter link description here

Cheers

Thank you, this is great news

I you go into trouble ask :slight_smile:

hello
Can you show me a video about how to connect pi2 without internet?

@colin here you go https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XJNzjH-bYsA

Hi, I still haven’t been able to get anything working, we’re new to all this and can’t really work out your instructions, we’ve tried and tried but sadly no joy. is there any way you could do a step by step video for a new user of a Raspberry Pi 2 and the Blynk app? The app side of things is fine and I have connected an 8 relay board so all the hardware is ready to go. I’ve formatted the micro SD card and re-installed noobs. So I’m ready to have another go… Ideally I would like the iPhone app to talk direct to the Pi so as above I’ll need to build a local blynk server on my Pi. Thanks in advance :slight_smile:

If anybody could help me I would really appreciate it. Thank you.

What is it that is not working for you? The local server installation is really easy and well documented.

thanks you for your video and sorry for the late
