I have set up a local server and am using www.noip.com to keep a more permanent address. When I am on my server’s Wi-Fi I cannot connect to the server. I have to be on wireless. Does any one know how I might use Wi-Fi and wireless? I’m sure it’s related to DNS. Port 8442 and 8443 are forwarded on the modem\router.
One option would be to use local IP when you are within Wi-Fi network.
It has to do with local-loopback capabilities of your router. Yours probably doesn’t support it from what I can tell.
